Gold STEP Award

In September of 2008, V-Talese Inc. was awarded the Gold STEP Award for its Safety Training and Education Process. The award recognizes Merit Shop Contractors for their committment to Safety and the effectiveness of their programs. The Award has a 4 tiers Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. As a result of this award V-Talese Inc. recieved and accepted the invitation to participate in the OSHA ABC Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter Stratigic Partnership allowing us the opportunity to work with other contractors and OSHA Representatives on continuous improvements to company safety practices and procedures.

V-Talese Safety Committee

The Safety Committee of V-Talese began in 2005 and acheived its certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on June 26, 2008. The requirements for this certification are set forth under the Pennsylvania's Workers' Compensation Act, Article X, for establishing a and maintaining an effective workplace safety committee. V-Talese thanks all of the employees who participate on this committee for its service and dedication.

V-Talese welcomes a new Apprentice

V-Talese would like to welcome Jason Bohley to our team. Jason entered our apprenticeship program in September and attends the Associated Builders and Contractors Craft Training Program in Lansdale, PA. V-Talese is committed to providing the best education and training possible for all of its employees in keeping with our company vision and mission.

Green Advantage

In July of 2008 Tammi Talese was granted the Green Advantage Certification after passing the Green Advantage - Commercial Exam. There is now a LEED Innovation Credit available for LEED Certified projects that is granted when a project has a sufficient percentage of Green Advantage Certified contractor / subcontractor building force at the time of the buildings construction. VTalese Apprenticeship Training Program 2008

V-Talese would like to congratulate Travis Nadeau for completing his first year in the Carpentry Apprenticeship Training Program. Travis attends school at Associated Builders and Contractors Craft Training Center in Lansdale, PA.

He has the opportunity to work among other carpenter and craft professionals while also learning on the job with his co-workers. Travis completed his first year of school with High Marks and great results. Travis has achieved his OSHA Certification and other valuable certifications and licensing that make him an asset to our company. Travis serves as a member of the V-Talese Inc. Safety Committee.

Travis is a welcome addition to our team and we look forward to continuing his education and watching him grow into a Foreman overseeing and managing jobs for V-Talese Incorporated.
